We had a wonderful, although cold and snowy Easter. We got 5 inches of snow on Saturday night, but we bundled up the girls in tights, coats and Easter dresses and had a wonderful morning of worship with our church family.

I got the girls Easter baskets, mostly because I found these cute baskets. I did a little Easter egg hunt for Jenna to find the baskets. They were hidden in the dryer ( just for you Dad. :))
I was setting up the eggs the night before until I heard Daisy shoot out the doggie door. I went outside to find that had helped herself to a few of the eggs and had figured out a way to get them open and retrieve the jelly beans inside.
This is a common look for Sophie right now. She has a vocabulary of 10 or so words, but she gets frustrated when she can't have what she wants, or Jenna takes a toy away from her and she screams. Yesterday, I started spanking her when she screamed. But, after 4 spankings in 10 minutes I realized that it wasn't working. So, I set up the pack n play downstairs and use her crib upstairs for time outs. She hates it and cries, so I know that something is working. Boy, this training this is exhausting!
Our beautiful "White Easter."
Sean's parents and aunt and uncle came over for Easter lunch, along with my friend Meghan who's husband is deployed right now. I meant to get a group picture, but I forgot.
Denise and Kim took Jenna and Daisy for a walk after lunch. It was really cold. Today, however we are supposed to get up to 70 degrees! Crazy Colorado weather.

My precious girls are so adorable! Sophie's Easter dress is the same one I got for my baby! Target, right? It's so cute!
I'm proud of you for working on stopping the screaming. I know it's got to be hard but it will be worth it! Keep up the good work!
