It's not exactly a sellers market right now, but we have had 7 showings in the past month. Yesterday we had buyers come back for the second time and today they came back again! So we are praying for some good news tomorrow. I'll let you all know how it turns out.
Once the house sells one of the many arrangements I will need to make is for Daisy, our 4 year old beagle. It would be too complicated to take her to Virginia, so I am looking for a home for her for a few months. She is a good dog. She is wonderful with our girls and they love her. She's an indoor dog and even though she has gone through her stages of swiping passies and dirty diapers and running away from home, now she spends most of her day sleeping, grateful for any attention that she gets. If you know of someone in the Colorado Springs area who would be willing to take her in from mid October to mid December please let me know.
Thanks.

Corrie,
You could try my parents for watching the dog. They just got rid of their dogs (one passed away and the other they sent out to live with my sister in WA), but we have the dog door that lets them go from in the laundry room to the garage and backyard. My mom of course travels a lot with work and my dad does sometimes too, but they might be able to help you out. They should be in the phone book on Borrego Drive. If you can't find them, leave a comment on my blog and I'll send you a phone number. Or, you can find both of them on Facebook.
Corrie-
I would be willing to talk with you about caring for your dog for that time if still needed.
