Today We Fly

In just a few hours we will be on our way back to Nigeria. All the shopping is done, all the bags are packed. My frozen meats and cheeses waiting in the deep freeze until the last minute, when I will load it all into cooler bags and then into suitcases.
The girls are ready to go. They aren’t looking forward to the almost 20 hours it will take us to get there and they will miss all that we have here, but they are ready to be home.
I still can’t say I’m excited to go back, but I’m content. I realized this morning that I am projecting the hard of last year onto next year. I am anxious, but I am choosing peace because while I can’t see the future, I know the one who can and he is faithful.

Thank you for all of your comments, prayers and love. Thank you for holding up my weary arms, being the Aaron to this trembling, but trusting Moses.
