Sophie was 2 months old on Tuesday! She weighs 10 lbs. 4 oz. and is 2 1 3/4 inches long. That puts her at almost 50% for weight and 25th for height, just a little bit bigger than Jenna at that age. She is growing out of her reflux. We took her off her medicine a few days ago and she is doing great. Her tear ducts are still clogged, but the doctor said that they wait until 6 months to see if it will clear up by itself.
She started smiling at about 5 weeks and cooing a week later. She is a happy girl, especially if she is being held. I invested in a Baby Bjorn carrier because she prefers to be with me, rathe than laying in her pack n play. So different from Jenna who needed her alone time from the beginning.
At the beginning of the month I wrote "coming out of the fog" on her baby calendar. It was a rough first six weeks, but we are falling into routine and starting to really enjoy having two little girls.
Last night both girls slept through the night! Sophie slept from 10:30 to 7:00 although I woke up at 5 out of habit. :)
