We did it!

We made it to California! The plane rides went really well. We even had an empty seat next to us from Phoenix to LA so that I could lay Sophie down and Jenna could stretch out. The only mishap was that Sophie had a really bad diaper about 5 minutes before we got on the first plane. One of those that needed a change of clothes, which I had forgotten to pack on the diaper bag. :) So by the time we got to California she was wrapped in a blanket with my hair clip holding it together. So much for the matching outfits I had hoped my mom would see them in. :)

My parents house is wonderful. So cozy and wonderfully decorated (thank you Paula!) I will post pictures of the inside later.

Jenna is doing great. She recognized both my parents and ran right into the house as if it were her own. She is loving having an accessible back yard.

The first day we were here Jenna went through 3 pairs of pants and 2 shirts. She is one busy and happy little girl.

Lauren and her mother Carol, members of my parent's church, came over to visit. Lauren is 17 months old. She and Jenna played really well together which I was very encouraged by.

Sophie was greeted with a few toys too that my mom got off of craigslist.

I heard from Sean today. He has arrived. He is working 18 hour days right now. It should be better once everyone gets there. I will keep updating as often as I can.
