I have captured some fun moments over the past few days and wanted to share them...

I got this swing on craigslist for $5! Jenna was so excited about it that she didn't want to wait for it to get hung before she started playing with it. Thanks Dad, for putting it up for her.

We went to a splash park on the north side of town on Tuesday with some friends. It wasn't as warm as it had been, so the water wasn't as inviting, but Jenna still had fun.

The clouds were beautiful. I wanted so much to get a great shot, but between trying to get Jenna to look at the camera and smile at the same time and avoiding the water, this was the best I could do. :)

I also picked up another play kitchen this week and moved her old one out on to the deck. She loves being able to use real water and has become quite the little hostess; serving Sophie and me tea. Her new kitchen has a "high chair" for her stuffed animals. She sits Boots in it, pulls up a plastic tub to sit on and feeds him "applesauce." Today she informed him that they needed to pray first and closed her eyes and said a prayer. Oh, for a video camera!

Jenna has been almost pure joy for the past few weeks. We have our moments and there have been a few time outs, but on the whole she is such a happy girl. She helped me trim the tree in the front yard and clean out the garage today during Sophie's morning nap. She is starting to be able to communicate her own thoughts and solve her own problems. She knows the first 4 answers to the children's catechism and the doxology. On September 16th she will be 2 1/2!
