We received a contract this morning! They asked for $5000 off the listed price and for us to pay the $4400 in closing. We are countering, hoping all works out somewhere in the middle. They have also asked for a closing date of September 26th.
Just a few days ago my sister booked her flight out here. She wanted to see the girls before we moved to California. She is getting here September 25th and leaving the 28th. So, I have asked our realtor to ask them to push back the closing date, but we of course won't let that be a deal breaker.
Please pray that they will accept our counter offer and change the closing date. Please also pray for me that I will be able to take this all one day at a time and not be overwhelmed by all of the details. On top of the move I am helping out with a friends bridal shower on the 6th and I am on our women's retreat commitee. The retreat is the 20th. I know I can do all of this, by the grace of God, I just need to prioritize, take the details one at a time and keep myself focused on what is important.
