Another Positive Update

Here's the latest update from Jim. The picture was the last one that we took before we left for the airport.

"Hi folks, We're back in University Hospital for round #6 of chemo. We had a couple of nice days at home earlier in the week (discharged Monday afternoon, back Thursday) and all went well at home this time . . . no fevers, falls, or other emergencies. Denise got her 10th spinal injection Thursday shortly after she was admitted, and then the rest of her chemo later that night. Now we just have to watch her blood counts and wait for the main chemo drug, methotrexate, to wash out of her body. Hopefully, we'll be able to go home again Monday or Tuesday for 7-9 days before the next round. Denise's strength, balance, and coordination are much improved over several weeks ago and continue to improve a little each day. Her memory and focus are improving more slowly, but are still much better than at her low point several weeks ago. Keep up your prayers and best thoughts!"
