Progress!

Here is the the latest update from Jim
"Mostly good news today. The latest MRI shows shrinkage of the swelling in Denise's brain by about 33% and some shrinkage of the lymphoma lesions. While she's has some ups and downs, her overall progress as far as symptoms has continued to improve over the past 7-10 days. The doctors are pleased and intend to stay with the current treatment plan. They intend to release us tomorrow for a few days subject to the weather (there's a major storm forecast for tonight and tomorrow). So we may get to spend a few days at home before the next chemo cycle starts next Friday, although we'll have to come back up for the intraspinal injections on Monday and Thursday on an outpatient basis. Ideally, that will be the plan for the next cycles: 5-6 days of chemo inpatient then off for a week or so until the next two week cycle. We'll see; there's been very little that's been predictable since all this began three months ago."
