Our 1st weekend here we took the girls to the National Zoo. We road the metro into DC, which turned out to be the highlight of the trip for the girls. The zoo wasn't that great, but we have a high standard for zoos, coming from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It was still fun to go on a family outing.

I've been to that zoo too and have to agree that it doesn't even come close to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Looks like you still had fun, though!
