The MRI results that we so anxiously awaited showed no change. That means either the chemo is not having an affect or the MRI was taken before the chemo could do its work.
So, more tests, more drugs, more questions, few answers. Her ability to complete a thought or even make sense seems to be getting worse, although some of that has to do with the medication. She is able to sit up in bed, but will slowly fall over without support. She cannot walk without support because of the weakness and loss of balance. She is still in good spirits, although very tired.
Right now Sean and the girls and I are in Colorado Springs visiting so friends for the weekend. It is hard to be away from the hospital, but we needed a break. It is exhausting to wait. From what I understand there are going to be two more MRI's in the next four or five days along with a second spinal injection (more of the medicine can get to her brain that way).
Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray that the tests will make it very clear what decisions need to be made and when it comes time to make those decisions the few involved will be unified.
